What initially drove me to this place was the monochromatic hue. I'm in the opinion that it has a therapeutic feel to it. It brings joy. What do you think? Now for the diner feel, I like! Growing up I used to listen to oldies and dreamed of living in that era. So, for the real reason I wanted to try this new spot was because they put care in their food in terms of high quality ingredients. I like Italian food more if it's 'healthy Italian' food. This is what Pietro Nolita does.
Luckily we were able to get a table quickly. I ordered the Coffee Waffle--Blackberries, Caramelized Almonds, Amaretto Syrup(no alcohol), and Whipped Mascarpone. In the meantime, I heard people talk about how this place is becoming popular among the fashion crowd. The conversation faded as my food arrived and I dove right in. But, what would happen next to my taste buds was unforeseen! I first tasted each food individually and felt the flavor wholesome density. When I tasted them together, I was having a well-adjusted symphony of flavors in my mouth. It was truly delicious. Enough said!
At the time that we dined at Pietro Nolita, they were only open for breakfast and lunch but looking to expand to dinner. I took a quick view and it seems they are now serving dinner. Buon Apettito!
