Do you have a pen or pencil and a piece of paper nearby? I have a favor to ask and would appreciate your help. Your participation is very important.
Write down the first quality you think of to describe the Muslim Woman.
What did you write? Make sure you hold on to it as we will discuss it later.
I often find myself pondering this thought. The one answer I always come up with is: Gracefulness. Right now, you are either smiling from ear to ear or thinking, “LOL There isn’t a graceful bone in my body...” I get it and I have felt both of these emotions and more. The funny thing about gracefulness is that while style of dress can make you look graceful, this quality begins with your mindset. When you think you are graceful, your movements, choices in dress, speech, and the way people perceive you tend to fall in place. I firmly believe people will view me exactly as I view myself. If I view myself as unworthy, people will view me in the same manner. There is a great deal of power that we possess as women, Muslim or non-Muslim. To be respected, we must respect ourselves. There is nothing more stunning than a woman who respects herself in a befitting manner. And to embellish this beautifully elegant mindset, a HOMA Q Abaya by Homa Qamar would be an excellent choice.
Designing for a highly-diverse clientele, Homa has mastered the art of dressing gracefully. Each of her pieces speaks of elegance and modesty while maintaining classic detailing and modern lines. Based in Dubai, she has exquisitely interwoven cultural traditions with fashionable, on-trend tastes. When you step out in a HOMA Q design, there is an undeniable air of regality that flows over and encompasses you. As humans are visually-inclined, I would be very surprised if onlookers did not to acknowledge the sight before them: a woman of gracefulness and exceptional taste. Where could you imagine yourself going in the abayat below?
