The runway woody backdrop at the Noon by Noor show almost alerted show-goers what they were into--something natural with ease. Indeed, the first piece to come down the runway was a winter white monochromatic look following comfortable almost huggable furry stoles with patchwork details and a furry dress and pockets. As the collection progressed it was clear this was Noon by Noor as specs of embellishments were seen on long-length cover-ups and not to mention their take on new age of femininity was felt. Next, the designer-cousin duo Noor Al Khalifa and Shaikha Haya Al Khalifa took us to a grey to midnight zone experimenting with texture and color, a two-toned moody blue floral jacquard fabric is reversed to bold effect. A collection of ease but with a flair and take on different worlds--all in a yet light manner, but never loosing oneself in the process!
