Indeed, Apple Cider Vinegar is known to have numerous amounts of health benefits, but it also has beauty ones too--one of them is acting as a natural face toner. Oh Yes!, they come in handy, have a purpose and are not just products your beauty salesperson pushes on you[but, would question what's in some of them]. Two things to keep in mind; one, when working with natural products and/or natural regimens, they do take time to work vs. your over the counter products. Two, because of our skin individuality, do listen to your skin! It will tell you what works, what doesn't and if so, how much of it. [In case you didn't know].
A natural face toner made with apple cider vinegar has strong levels of natural Alpha Hydroxy Acids--these 'beauty-saviors' and acid chemical compounds are what you find in exfoliating products and what will help 1. get rid of dead skin cells 2. get rid of excess oil and makeup residue 3. aid age spots 4. kill bacteria 5. aid acne and 6. balance the PH levels of the face that are disrupted when we use certain soaps--and one of the forms break-outs come about. The use of an apple cider vinegar natural face toner will not only aid our skin problematic areas but will help achieve good looking skin through looking its individual best! But, do keep in mind that in reality it is beyond putting apple cider on your face [this is only a small step that helps]. In the overall, it is about the lifestyle that you lead: quality of food you consume, hydration, stress levels and the environments your skin breaths on a daily basis among some. A combination of what we allow to consume and put on topically along with small health efforts on a daily basis will lead us to a better us all around. Never too late to start!
The below concoction, is a basic foundation. You can further customize it by adding oils and other ingredients, if you want to get fancy. But, this basic concoction is just as effective when left bare! Before you get started, depending on your skin sensitivity, its individuality and if you haven't use Apple Cider Vinegar as a face toner, it's best that you test it out for a week in small portions and use it once a day at night after you wash your face[you don't wash it off--do let it dry and apply creams]. You might also have to play with the amounts of the Apple Cider Vinegar and the water[If you notice too much redness on your skin, you're probably using too much vinegar in the mixture] In the concoction below, portions of 50/50 [apple cider vinegar and water] are being used. Use that as your starting point--the key is striking the right balance that works for your skin. Do feel free to use it on your décolletage. And, remember, all this is just to age gracefully because you are already beautiful!
