We're a few days into Ramadan and close into Summer. The weather has been good thus far with these transitioning chilly days--can it stay this way? We know that's wishful thinking, but hey the mind can imagine, right? The truth is that soon enough we will wake up to steamy 90 degree weather calling-out our cooling weather clothes. Don't worry if you don't have any or have the wrong type(ouch!) So, what makes for Summer ideal clothing? Here's a brand with a few ideas.
The France based conservative clothing brand Fringadine has launched this Ramadan a capsule collection which aids with the hot environment, and as founder Mahel Decence states to us, "feel comfortable both spiritually and physically." The Paris manufactured garments are made using cotton, linen, tencel, and high quality polyester. The capsule focuses from essential pieces at different length tops, pants skirts to dresses worthy to iftar dinner invites and Eid, of course.
In a backdrop of The Grande Mosquée de Paris founded in 1926 in appreciation to the Muslims who fought in the French Army against Germany and the place where Algerian and European Jews seeked refuge, Fringadine opted for a contemporary style on these seasonal pieces with the aim to meet the daily needs of women opting for conservative wear in their professional and casual activities while respecting their religious beliefs.
Fringadine also continues its effort in sustainability by producing its limited quantity pieces using local resources and artisans--something to take note during this month of consciousness.
